How to interpret your readings – Part 1

Stuck on a reading? You can add an extra 3 cards to each of the cards to the traditional reading format. Add information about the circumstances of your situation and the characters involved.

Read ‘through’ the card you are seeking more information on. Good readings are about tying it all together in context of the other cards. Try and identify the most active cards in the layout. Are the active cards trumps or are you dealing with a lot of Court Cards? Is there an elemental theme – water? Fire?

Expanding on the Justice card in the layout above the 3 cards drawn are the Princess of Cups, Queen of Disks and The Chariot are operating in the theatre of the Justice trump.

1. An offer of conciliation (Princess of Cups brings offers of connection and good intentions sometimes with little follow through)

2. Patience as the situation develops and taking time to carefully consider all aspects of your circumstances. (Queen of Disks)

3. The Chariot pushes you forward to act confident in your resources and armed to act decisively – aware of your power and weapons at hand you can seize the advantage.

When we read those 3 cards together in the context of the Justice trump they have  different meaning than of they were read alone when we could expect:
Princess of Cups – sweet connection, blossoming romance and admiration from an unexpected quarter. Develops slowly into a steady and fulfilling emotional connection, a relationship that is more comforting and nourishing than highly emotional (Queen of Disks). This results in an increase in confidence to face the travails of life. Having one’s personal life in a good state one can reenter the fray of life, confident of attaining the goal.

It’s all about context! There’s no fixed meaning. Weave the story and go from there ♡
