The Wild Woman and the Wild Man tarot sessions are separate courses held once every month on the South Coast 1.25 hours south of Sydney. We work through the tarot intuitively, spiralling into the mysteries and calling out different Archetypes and stories in the cards as we go along. We will be working the wise, wild way – into the tarot as a path of initiation, individuation and spiritual transformation.
A 3 hour intensive guided by Asha and supported by the others present, we make space for the dynamic creative, the lyrical and beautiful to remerge and guide us along our destiny.
$80 per person on the day / $88 booked online.
The stories of the Wild Self and the mysteries of the tarot guide us to understand our hidden life – the dreaming, musing, sometimes insistent voice of the inner wild. At each salon we encounter a different aspect of our own mystery. Discover the power of the story and the telling of the story; how to call your stories back or sing them into life. Join like minded souls working creatively into this ancient initiatic tradition; make time for the inner life in these dedicated workshops. There are 2 paths – the Wild Woman path or the Solar Tarot/Wild Man path. The courses run separately. You will be supported in between the sessions via the closed Facebook group for your course.
WILD WOMAN & THE TAROT :
For femme souls calling out their Wildish instinct, reconnecting to the Grandmother’s stories and the mystery of the tarot as a divinatory and way showing tool. This work is based around the work of Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes and other woman story-weavers.
SOLAR TAROT & the WILD MAN
For masc souls rewilding the Wild Man, remembering and retrieving the softness and strength of Wild Man. We will explore the masculine mythos over monthly sessions journeying through the stories of hero, the warrior and sage. This work is inspired by the structure of the work of Dr Estes and other writers like Joseph Campbell.
From October The Solar Tarot – Wild Man tarot cycle begins. We meet at the Spring Equinox, calling the power of the Green Man, Lord of the Forest and King of the Wild. I am honoured to hold space for those men/masc folk desirous to learn mysteries of the tarot and the power of the Wild. We will explore the masculine mythos over monthly sessions in the rainforest near Coledale. This is exciting work, and I am eager to meet you and explore with you the mythos of the Green Man, Hercules and his labours, The Dying God and other masculine mysteries.
Encounter the Goddess, Red with passion, beauty, desire, ferocity and love through her symbols The Priestess, The Empress, Strength, Justice, Temperance and The Universe. These are the Major Arcana of the tarot – we meet these fierce, devoted, loyal and Queenly ones and explore their presence and how to evoke them from within.
Encounter the power of transformation we map using the Tarot to show us the path. Whether through ecstasy or agony we transform and arise, now we explore the tarot and the guidance we need to share and find in the moment of crisis. Explore the nature of thresholds of change, difficult dreaming shifting to healing and much more. We will meet the first day of a new lunar month, on a serpent moon day – powerful time indeed!

We’ll be able to support each other online in-between session with mythos, stories and practical tarot advice…as you lead your own search for the mysteries and magick of the masculine.
Our first session calls the Wild and encounters the story and history of tarot. We’ll learn some basic reading skills and story work even in this very first session.
The workshop is 3 hours from Midday to 3pm on October 21. The Sun is at the point of equinox when the masculine and feminine energies are balanced ahead of the fierce crescendo to the Summer Solstice.
$80 per person on the day / $88 booked online.
The Tarot Salon is designed to give you time for yourself spiritually as well as encountering this beautiful tradition as a way of enriching your personal journey, working with dreams and other creative work. Tarot has been folding mystery within mystery and providing the answers for hundreds of years to problems esoteric and practical. By making sacred time for yourself you make sacred space to decompress and allow the intuitive self to speak. The work is grounded in earth-based spirituality and developing the wise inner voice – the cards are just the images of the story.
You don’t need any tarot knowledge just a willingness to discover your creativity and explore the Wild with curiosity. If you already study tarot you will find plenty of rich work here in the deeper mysteries – I will weave different threads within our work, so you can travel as deeply as you like and invoke greater wisdom into your working.
The workshops will be 3 hours long, – allowing for significant work and connection. The salon will include simple meditative practise, creative work and ways of working with the tarot and whatever greets you in life at this moment. We will hold a gentle, connected space while remaining true to the tradition of tarot. We’ll have some tea as we work and the sessions will generally start around midday finishing in time for Sydney and further visitors to return home before dark.
Each session will cost $80 and be limited to 10 participants, held in a beautiful space on the south coast (1.25 hours from Sydney).
The venue backs onto the rainforest – there’s plenty of space to work inside and outside, so you can retreat, and then reconnect in circle in the main area flowing with the work, pausing as needed, making space to listen.
All participants will have access to a private Facebook forum for which will allow you to share tarot knowledge, questions and insights in the weeks between. You are supported between sessions with writing and creative prompts.
But what if I’m not intuitive?
You can use the tarot as a story book, a map, divination tool or healing spiritual medicine wherever you are in your journey. You don’t need to be experienced or be intuitive but more experienced readers will deepen their practise through this work too. All of us have intuition, some of us have worked it to consciousness a little more – creativity, divination, dream work and sharing with other seekers cultivates and develops the Wild Self – this is what this circle is for!
Is this a once-off or an ongoing thing?
We will meet about every month to support a truly deep understanding and development of your ability. Ideally you will commit to regular practise, discovery and study of these ancient mysteries. Making time for your spiritual life is important and tarot cannot be learned in one or two sessions, it is an initiatic process – setting this time aside to come work with others in this way ensures you have the place of retreat and restoration. For this reason, the salons are designed to be affordable as well as packed with practical skills for reading and initiation into the deeper mysteries of the cards.
These workshops are tarot apprenticeship designed to equip you to guide and heal yourself through the magic of stories and then flow outward through your family and community to revive your own traditions and stories as the healing balm for life, right now.
A little bit about Asha:
Asha is an experienced reader and teacher, she has studied the tarot traditions for over 13 years and runs a tarot and astrology practise incorporating spiritual counselling and stories as magic as part of her work. More than a “how to use tarot” these salons are a place to meet with other likeminded souls and share your own magics, make connection, take time for your creative life and renew yourself. Please msg me any questions you may have.
Who is this workshop for?
This set of workshops is designed for and dedicated to the Wild Femme and Wild Masc as a sacred space for all femmes to meet, share, unite and renew spiritually and in the masc solar circle, to rediscover, retrieve and connect to those stories. All my workshops are GLBTIQ integrated spaces. The Wild Woman workshops are focused on Femme mysteries and a safe space to restore the power to the Femme. The Solar Wild Man sessions are focused on Masc mysteries and a safe place to explore power and restore creative flow.
The binary of masculine and feminine is conceptual and presented dynamically; but only one of many ways to view reality and is neither meant to be prescriptive or prohibitive. However, as part of healing wounding from the over culture it is also important to have separate spaces to heal collectively and work on deconstructing and rebuilding identity in alignment with our individual and collective destinies.
